 The best dog friendly hikes in and around Perth

1.   Sixty Foot Falls, Ellis Brook Valley in Gosnells

This short loop (approximately 2.1km) has one of the best views of Perth once you get to the top! This trail is great all year round but in winter you will be most likely amazed by view of the sixty-foot falls. The climb is quite steep which will give you and your pooch a good workout!

2. Whistlepipe Gully in Kalamunda

 Whistlepipe Gully is a 3.5 km Loop in Kalamunda. You can enjoy a leisurely walk with your pup in between lush Australian Natives. The trail follows a narrow river and if you have a dog that loves water, winter is ideal to enjoy a quick swim.

 3. Lake Gwelup Reserve in Gwelup

Lake Gwelup invites you for a leisurely stroll where you will meet other friendly dogs while you enjoy nature. It’s a short walk (2.5 km) but who says you can’t do a few laps!

4. Salt Lakes

The Salt Lakes in Rockingham are simply beautiful. You have ample of room to roam and there is no wrong or right direction to walk in. You can simply enjoy a short or long walk as you please.

5. Reabold Hill at Bold park in Floreat

Zamia Trail at Reabold Hill is a 5.2 km walk with stunning views of Perth. So close to the city, yet you feel like you are out in the middle of nowhere. This spot is an on lead dog walk that is shared with joggers and walkers of all age groups.
