Width — pick based on your dog's size
- 2.5cm — XSmall, Small & Medium dogs. Lighter and more flexible, ideal if you're choosing longer wording.
- 4cm — Large+ dogs. Bolder and easier to read from a distance, best paired with shorter wording.
Length — determined by your custom text
There's no fixed length — the extender is made to fit your wording, up to 20 characters (not counting spaces). The shorter your text, the shorter the finished extender. Text close to the 20-character limit typically finishes around 40–45cm.
For example, “DO NOT PET” (10 characters) sits on the shorter side but is still nice and visible — something like “NERVOUS GIVE ME SPACE” (close to the limit) will come out close to the full 40–45cm.
